UPDATE, Jan. 21, 5:10 p.m.: Garbage, trash and recycling pickup will be delayed by an additional day the rest of the week due to icy road conditions. Tuesday's route will run on Thursday, Wednesday's route will run on Friday and Thursday's route will run on Saturday.

Jan. 21, 12 p.m.: AUBURN, Ala.- Most City facilities will close at noon today, Jan. 21, in light of winter weather conditions.

Public Safety services, including police, fire and communications will remain on their regular schedules.

The Auburn Public Library and all Auburn Parks and Recreation facilities will close at noon. All programs and events scheduled for the remainder of the day have been canceled.

The Auburn City Council meeting originally scheduled for today, Jan. 21, has been postponed to Thursday, Jan. 23.

Garbage, trash and recycling pickup is scheduled to continue as planned on Wednesday, Jan. 22.

City officials will continue to monitor weather conditions the day goes on. Any changes to City operations or programs scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 22, will be posted at auburnalabama.org, via the City's eNotifier and @CityofAuburnAL on social media.
